Not at all. Our classes are suitable for beginners as well as those with previous Pilates experience. Exercises can be adapted to your level and progressed over time.
We recommend comfortable clothing you can move easily in, such as leggings, shorts, or a T-shirt. Pilates is usually done barefoot or in socks.
We recommend bringing your own mat as it’s more hygienic and comfortable to use equipment you’re familiar with. However, if you don’t have one, we can provide a mat for you. We also supply Pilates bands and balls during the class when needed.
Our classes take place at Balsall Common Village Hall, CV7 7FF, with easy access and plenty of parking.
Yes - in most cases Pilates is safe and can even support your recovery. Please let your instructor know before class if you have an injury or condition so we can adapt the exercises for you. Prior to attending a class at booking, you will receive a health screening form which will be used to support adaptations to your specific needs during the class. Please check your email when you sign up.
Pilates helps to build core strength, improve posture, increase flexibility, prevent injuries, and support both body and mind. Many people also find it reduces stress and improves overall wellbeing.
You can book directly through our online booking system or contact us for more information.
Pilates classes are £10 per session for drop-ins. If you’d like a more cost-effective option, you can sign up to our monthly direct debit of £28.50, which works out at around £6–7 per class depending on the number of weeks in the month. You can join at any time and cancel with one month’s notice.
If you’ve booked a drop-in session and can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your space to someone else. For monthly memberships, missed classes aren’t carried over, but the subscription still offers a reduced rate per session compared to paying individually.
