It's time to make a change

You don't need another plan. You need someone in it with you.

The job that took over. The injury that never quite settled. The year where everyone else came first. Nobody chooses to stop being the person who trains or looks after themself— it goes a week at a time, until one day you don't recognise how you move or feel any more.

I get what that feels like, and I know it isn't a willpower problem. Getting it back starts with someone giving you confidence and hope that you can be the person you're missing. That's what I do.

Let's be honest

You already know most of it. You know you should be lifting something heavy a couple of times a week. You know sleep matters more than whatever you last saw on Instagram. You know the plan you stopped in March would probably have worked if you'd kept going. Nobody ends up where you are through not knowing.

So why hasn't it clicked? Because knowing what to do and knowing what you should do next are two completely different things. You've had plenty of information. What you haven't had is someone looking at your body, your history and the week you've actually got, and telling you the order to do it in.

That's my job. I do the thinking — what comes next, when to push, when to back off, what that niggle actually means and whether it matters. You just have to turn up and do the work. And when the week goes sideways, I rework it, rather than leaving you to guess and lose another fortnight.

I'm not going to promise you'll never get injured again. Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does isn't being straight with you. Bodies are complicated and life gets in the way.

What I will do is take the decisions off your plate, explain why every part of the plan is there so it finally makes sense, build it in stages so you're never guessing whether you're ready, and keep you going on the weeks you'd have quietly stopped. That last part is usually the one that changes things.

This is for you if:

You've plateaued despite training hard, and you've started to wonder whether the fitness is even still there.

You've stitched a plan together from an app, an old physio sheet and whatever felt right on the day, and you can't work out why it keeps unravelling.

You're coming back after an injury, a break, a baby, or just life but you are braced for the next thing to go wrong.

You've been discharged before. The pain stopped, you went back, and a few weeks later you were back at the start.

You're juggling training with strength work, another sport, or a job that never lets you plan the same week twice.

You've caught yourself saying "maybe this is just getting old" — and part of you has started to believe it.

Your world has quietly got smaller. The things you've stopped doing, the plans you don't make, the trips you talk yourself out of.

"After months of sporadic, unfocused training I decided to go for online coaching with Abi. After only a few weeks, I have made huge improvements with my technique, motivation and overall fitness - I feel amazing! Abi delivers tailor made sessions that not only ensure that you achieve your goals but that are challenging and fun at the same time. The ongoing support week by week has kept me focused and on track. I cannot recommend Abi highly enough to reignite your passion for fitness and push yourself to achieving more!"

90 days from now you could be someone who's fit, healthy and confident in their body — not someone who's starting again.

The Resync difference

Why me, and why it works

Something happens in your thirties. Not all at once — it's a job that takes more than it used to, a couple of years where everyone else comes first, an injury you never quite got on top of. Then one day you catch yourself doing a smaller version of the thing you used to love, and deciding that's just how it is now.

Losing it isn't only physical. It's the feeling that a piece of who you were has gone somewhere you can't get it back from. For me, as a Physio helping people out of pain back to health is about getting them back to themselves, and helping them to become more resilient and stronger.

So once you're working with me, I'm in it with you. I'm the one who notices the session you nearly skipped, who makes a fuss about the weight you didn't think you'd lift, and who won't let one bad fortnight become the end of the whole thing. I'm your biggest cheerleader, and I take your result personally.

I'm HCPC-registered with an MSc and a strength coach, so underneath all of that there's a structure and evidenced based skills that enable me to deliver high quality, well reasoned care and support through online coaching.

Coaching options

Ways to work with me

Both are built on the same three stages and the same testing between them. The difference is how much of me you get week to week. We'll work out which one fits on the call.

Option one

Monthly Coaching

For people who know they'll do the work once someone tells them what the work actually is.

A full onboarding call to work out where your body actually is and what we're aiming at
An individual programme built around your week, your equipment and your history
Message support seven days a week, so a niggle on a Sunday doesn't cost you the week
Regular check-ins with written feedback, and your programme adjusted from what you tell me
Nutritional guidance to support the training
Functonal testing between each stage, so you know you're ready before you move on
Minimum 90-day commitment

Option two

Everything in Coaching, plus eyes on you every week. For people who want more accountability, or whose body needs closer watching.

Everything in Coaching
A 20-minute check-in call every week — what worked, what didn't, what changes
Video analysis of your lifts and movement, so technique gets corrected rather than repeated
Movement screening and testing, reviewed as you go rather than once at the start
Programme changes made on the call, not left until the next block
Minimum 90-day commitment

Register your interest

Tell me where you're at. The more detail you give me, the more it will guide our first call. What happens next: I read every application. I'll send you an email once I have read your application and we will arrange a 30 minute call. On the call we will talk through your application and whether the coaching is the right fit. Places are limited as I get alot of applications and keep numbers on my programmes limited to maintain a high quality of care and support.

Thanks — that's come through. I read every application myself and I'll come back to you within two working days.
